More About Mabel
Born in Austin, Texas Mabel came into our family after a long search for a Golden Retriever.  We wanted a healthy family pet, and a dog who could help children with learning differences. 
​When Mabel turned one year old, she began the process of becoming a therapy dog.  She learned basic and intermediate obedience, tricks, manners and socialization.  She and her handler/mom Tracy passed all their tests and began visiting a dyslexia remediation center and libraries and listening to children read stories.
